Kojima has also previously gone on record to express his interest in virtual reality. Back in 2022, Kojima joined Rocket Beans Gaming and was asked about his experiences with the PSVR and said "I want to create something that you don't become 3D motion sickness with but for VR, I'thou really interested in it".
